Marketing and PR Manager
Ilana Guttin is a seasoned marketing and communications professional with expertise in writing, project management, event planning, community development, and social media outreach. She has extensive experience working in the education and government sectors.
Prior to joining Verasolve, Ilana was a Project Specialist for the City of Gaithersburg, working to build the brand of the Department of Parks, Recreation and Culture through writing and communications initiatives. She helped her team gain statewide recognition through awards and affiliations and developed dynamic branding campaigns for programs and events.
Ilana graduated magna cum laude from Northeastern University with a bachelor’s degree in English and Theater. Thereafter, she became a New York City Teaching Fellow and earned a master’s degree in Secondary English Education. Throughout her career, Ilana has always sought opportunities to practice and share her passion for writing and collaborative projects.
Ilana originally hails from Rhode Island, the smallest state with the biggest personality. She enjoys all things avante garde and artsy and loves to eat at local restaurants featuring savory dishes from around the world, later attempting to recreate them at home with many shortcuts. Her sushi has been described as “not bad.” One husband, two vivacious daughters and two energetic rescue dogs keep life exciting and unpredictable for Ilana.
