Revere Bank, a community bank with more than $715 million in assets, hired Verasolve in 2014 to help with PR, branding and marketing efforts—and to increase media attention.

For small-to-midsize businesses, it can be especially difficult to garner earned media. As part of its work with the company, Verasolve developed a creative brand exposure strategy that helped Revere Bank secure a Good Morning Washington feature on ABC7. The three-segment story highlighted Revere Bank’s commitment to help female entrepreneur and cakepoppery owner Yael Krigman become even more successful.

ABC7 is a leader in media reach ratings in the DC market, meaning Revere Bank’s message reached thousands of viewers in its target audience. The segments were also highlighted on ABC7 reporter Eileen Whelan’s Facebook, Instagram and Twitter, reaching her several thousand followers. The videos are on the WJLA website as well. Revere Bank shared the feature on its website and social media channels, showcasing the bank’s great work to existing and potential clients.

Revere Bank’s VP and relationship manager Eileen Ascher and her daughter Haley participated in the segment, showcasing the great relationships Revere executives form with clients and customers. The two learned how to frost cakepops and sampled treats, while Yael talked about how her dream of opening a retail storefront was made possible by Revere Bank.
