Katie Jordan joined Verasolve as the Vice President of Business Development in 2013. Since then, Katie has successfully led the strategic business efforts for the firm and demonstrated her ability to help clients exceed their revenue goals and increase market share. Specific clients include $50M and $300M construction companies, multiple mid-size government contracting companies, independent wealth management firms, and professional services firms. Katie has also played an integral role in shaping and leading Verasolve’s operational initiatives. The combination of these achievements and her proven leadership skills led to Katie being named as a Principal of the firm in January 2015.

She has more than 10 years of experience in business to business sales and operations across a number of industries, and is responsible for developing and leading the growth strategies of the firm throughout the Washington, DC metropolitan area. Before joining Verasolve, Katie was a Senior Consultant for Paychex, Inc., the leading SMB payroll provider, where she helped hundreds of small-to-mid-size companies operate more efficiently.

Prior to Paychex, Katie was an Executive Recruiter for Beale Personnel, where she was responsible for sourcing candidates and developing new business relationships. She also worked as Sales and Marketing Manager for Ascent Management, an association management company for two years. Katie was responsible for business development for the firm and also held various operational responsibilities in support of the President. For the firm’s clients, Katie was in charge of exhibit/sponsorship sales, event planning, marketing and communications, and account management. She also worked as a Contracts Specialist in F/A-18 acquisitions for the Department of Navy for four years and was responsible for contract preparation, negotiation, and award.

Because of her diverse background, Katie understands the challenges facing business owners across private, public, government, not for profit, and boutique operations. Katie earned her BS in Business Management from the University of Maryland, College Park.

Katie gives back when she can and has spearheaded a local Toys for Tots campaign for her friends, family, and clients for several years. She has also volunteered her time at Potomac Horse Center’s Therapeutic Riding Program and worked with underprivileged adolescents in Burton Snowboard Company’s Chill Program.

Katie has visited more than 20 countries, many while backpacking Europe after college, and can’t wait to plan her next adventure. Sampling food from around the world is a favorite of Katie’s and when not dining out, she loves testing out new recipes and entertaining family and friends (her enchiladas are famous). A lover of all things outdoors, Katie frequents the beach, snowboards, rides horses, goes hiking (usually with her Nikon), and enjoys golfing. During the fall, Sundays are reserved for football and while she cheers for the Redskins, she’s very loyal to her hometown Patriots. Katie is not afraid to karaoke and loves all music.
